Part B 文法與句型

一、虛主詞it的用法

　 1.it當「虛主詞」時，用來代替句中to所引導的不定詞片語，此不定詞片語是真正的主詞。

句型：	虛主詞	be動詞	形容詞	to	原形動詞
句型：	It	is	interesting	to	learn English.

　2.若把真主詞即不定詞片語移至句首，則虛主詞「it」要去掉，此時不定詞可用動名詞片語來代換。上述的句子可寫成：
例：It is interesting to learn English.(學英文很有趣。)→It當主詞
　　＝To learn English is interesting.→不定詞當主詞
　　＝Learning English is interesting.→動名詞當主詞

二、連接詞的用法(so, and, but, or, not only～but also～, when, after, before)

　 1.連接詞是用來連接單字、片語、子句或句子的字。

　 2.連接詞依用法可分為兩種：(1)對等連接詞；(2)從屬連接詞。詳述如下：

　　(1)對等連接詞，用於連接同等地位的單字、片語或子句。

　　　(A)not only～but also～(不但～而且～)
例：Not only Mary but (also) you are my teacher.
　　(不只是Mary，你也是我的老師。)

　　　(B)so(所以)
例：He is very tired, so he falls asleep soon.
　　(他很累，所以很快就睡著了。)

　　　(C)but(但是)
例：He likes singing, but I don't.
　　(他喜愛唱歌，但我不喜歡。)

　　(2)從屬連接詞是用以連接從屬子句的連接詞，使從屬子句和主要子句可結合成一完整複合句。

句型：

例：When Mary saw Miss Lin, she said hello to her.
　　＝Mary said hello to Miss Lin when she saw her.

　　(她因生病而沒上學。)

三、現在完成式

　 1.現在完成式依使用時機不同有下列三種情形：

　　(1)用來表示到目前為止已完成的動作。

句型：

例：I have finished my homework.
　　(我已寫完功課。)

　　(2)用來表示從過去某時刻到目前為止的動作，且該動作正在持績當中。

句型：

主詞

過去分詞

for＋時間

例：Sue has lived in Tainan for ten years.
　　(Sue已在台南住了十年。)

　　(3)用來表示到目前為止曾經／未曾擁有的經驗，句中常會加入頻率副詞。

例：They have been to the US twice.
　　(他們曾去過美國二次。)

　 2.現在完成式的否定，只要在have／has之後加not、never等否定副詞。
例：I have never seen her before.(我以前從未見過她。)

　 3.現在完成式的疑問句，只要將Have／Has移至句首即成。
例：Have you heard of SARS before?
　　(你以前曾聽過什麼叫嚴重急性呼吸道症候群嗎？)

　 4.現在完成式的肯定句與already連用，否定和疑問句與yet連用。

四、被動語態

　 1.定義：主動語態→主詞是動作的製造者。
　　　被動語態→主詞是動作的接受者。

　 2.主動語態改成被動語態的方法：以下以現在簡單句為例

	主詞	動詞	受詞
[主動]	She	makes	a cake.	(她做了一個蛋糕。)

[被動]	A cake	is made	by her.	(一個蛋糕是由她所做成。)

　　(1)主動句的受詞(a cake)變成被動句的主詞

　　(2)主動句的動詞(makes)變成被動句的動詞，其時態由現在式(makes)
變成現在式be動詞加過去分詞(is made)。

　　(3)主動句的主詞(she)變成被動句的受詞(her)，注意要改為受格，其前再加上by(即by her)。

　　※注意：不管任何時式，只要是被動態一定有be動詞。

五、使役動詞的用法

　 1.使役動詞通常含有「命令、使喚、強迫」等語意，常見的有make, have, let, get等。

句型：	主詞	使役動詞	受詞	補語
	They	make, have, let	me	wash the car.
	They	make, have, let	the car	washed.

　　(1)使役動詞的受詞是「人」時，補語用原形動詞、名詞或形容詞，而受詞是「事物」時，補語用過去分詞，這是一般的用法，但也有受詞是「人」而補語用過去分詞的情況。

例1：He makes me wash the car. (他叫我洗車子。)→原形動詞

例2：The song makes me happy.(這首歌使我快樂。)→形容詞

例3：He makes me a teacher.(他使我成為一個老師。)→名詞

例4：He makes the car washed.(他叫人把車子洗了。)→過去分詞

例5：He can't make himself understood.(他無法使人了解他。)→過去分詞

　　(2)get的受詞是「人」時，用不定詞當補語，而不是用原形動詞。
例：They get Tom to wash the car.→不定詞(他們叫Tom去洗車。)

六、How問搭乘何種交通工具；by＋交通工具

　 1.How可用於詢用「原因、理由、方法」，在詢問他人使用何種交通工具的問句中最常用How開頭詢問，而答句通常用「by＋交通工具」。
例：A：How do you go to school?(你如何去上學？)
　　B：I go to school by bus.(我搭巴士去上學。)

　 2.在「by＋交通工具」的片語中，交通工具之前不可加任何冠詞，也不用複數形。
如：by bus----------------- (○)
　　by car------------------ (○)
　　by bicycle-------------- (○)

　3.若交通工具之前要加冠詞，則by要改為in或on，或在by之後加taking，riding等字。

七、How much問多少錢

　 1.詢問東西「多少錢」時常用以下的句型：

本句的主詞是物品，所以動詞用is或are須依主詞而定。

例1：How much is the pen?(這支筆多少錢？)

例2：How much are the pen and the book?(這支筆和這本書共多少錢？)

八、How many＋複數可數名詞

　 1.How many接複數可數名詞。若此複數可數名詞在句中當主詞，則動詞用複數，若不是當主詞，則動詞須依主詞而定。

　 2.比較：

　　(1)How many boys are there in the classroom?(教室裡有多少個男生？)
→主詞是boys，動詞用are

　　(2)How many books does Mary have?(Mary有多少本書？)
→主詞是Mary，助動詞用does，books是當動詞have的受詞

　　(3)How many books do they have?(他們有多少本書？)
→主詞是they，助動詞用do，books是當動詞have的受詞

九、any, some, both, all的用法

　 1.any, some, both和all等字可當「不定代名詞」，具有名詞的功能，若其後接名詞，則這些字就變成形容詞，稱為「不定形容詞」。

　 2.some和any

　　(1)

　　(2)any與some可接複數可數名詞或不可數名詞。

　 3.both與all

　　(1)both(兩者都)和all(全部→指三者以上)可接複數可數名詞，而all還可接不可數名詞，both只能接複數可數名詞。

　　(2)not和both或all連用時，表「部分否定」即not both(並非兩者都…)，not all(並非全部都…)
例1：Not both of them like swimming.(他們兩個並非都喜愛游泳。)
例2：Not all the students like Harry Potter.(並非全部的學生都喜愛哈利波特。)

十、頻率副詞(usually, seldom, never,always, sometimes)

　 1.依發生次數的多寡由多至少排列如下：always(總是)→usually(經常)→sometimes(有時)→seldom(很少)→never(決不)

　 2.頻率副詞在句中的位置，通常是在一般動詞之前。若句中有助動詞或be動詞，則頻率副詞要放在助動詞或be動詞之後。
例：John doesn't always get up early.(John並非總是很早起床。)

　 3.在簡答句中頻率副詞要移至助動詞或be動詞的前面。
例：Do you usually go to school by bicycle?(你通常騎單車上學嗎？)
　　Yes, I usually do.(是的，通常是。)

十一、附加問句

　 1.附加問句是接在直述句之後的簡短問句，用來詢問對方的意見，直述句和附加問句之間用逗點隔開，且附加問句要用例裝句。

句型：	直述句	，	附加問句	？
句型：	主詞＋動詞＋…	，	動詞＋主詞	？

　 2.直述句和附加問句須相互為相反句，即前者為肯定句，則後者為否定句，若前者為否定句，則後者為肯定句。

　 3.附加問句的主詞須用代名詞，如上例的Tony在附加問句中須改為he。

　 4.直述句若有助動詞或be動詞，則附加問句也同樣用該助動詞或be動詞，若直述句的動詞為一般動詞，則附加問句須借用助動詞do, does, did。

　 5.直述句中雖沒有not，但若有否定含意的字時，也須以否定句視之，如seldom(很少)，no(沒有)，never(決不)等字。

十二、used to和be used to

　 1.used to＋原形動詞，表過去的習慣或過去常…。而be used to＋名詞(動名詞)，表習慣於某事物。

例1：May used to go shopping on Saturday.(May以前常在星期六去購物。)

例2：Peter is used to getting up early.(Peter習慣早起。)

十三、連綴動詞＋形容詞

　 1.連綴動詞是「不完全不及物動詞」，這種動詞不必接受詞，但必須有主詞補語來修飾主詞，而主詞補語一般常用形容詞或名詞，不可用副詞當補話。
例1：Sue became a teacher.(Sue成為一個老師。)→名詞當補語

　 2.名詞或形容詞可當連綴動詞的主格補語，但以下的連綴動詞只能用形容詞當補語，feel(覺得)，sound(聽起來似乎)，taste(嚐起來有…味)，smell(聞起來有…味)。

十四、spend＋V-ing

　 1.spend指花費時間、金錢、勞力在某事、物上。

　 2.常見的用法有：

　　(1)spend＋錢＋on／for＋物(花錢買某物)。

　　(2)spend＋時間＋(in)doing事(花時間做某事)。

十五、未來試

　 1.未來式句子常見的句型有二：

　　(1)主詞＋will＋原形動詞。

　　(2)主詞＋be動詞＋going＋to＋原形動詞。

十六、祈使句的用法

　 1.祈使句的特點有二：
(1)主詞被省略。(2)動詞用原形。

十七、比較級和最高級

　 1.比較級用於二者間的比較，修飾比較級用much。

　 2.最高級用於三者以上的比較，而且其前要加冠詞the。
